If this is the case you can probably get away with changing your region to “United States” until the update is done. Most likely is that you have a US OS that has been set to a different region. There are a couple of tricks to try first though: Solution #1 – Change your region to get Windows 8.1 Preview update to work If however you have installed another language (installed perhaps from “en-gb_windows_8_圆4_dvd_915412.iso”) then you may need to install a fresh copy of Windows. If you have a “en-us” copy of windows (installed from “en_windows_8_圆4_dvd_915440.iso”) you can easily bypass this protection by either changing your windows regional settings to “United States”, rebooting and retrying. This update is supposed to be for US customers only and has some checks to make sure that you have the correct region set. ![]() Unfortunately Microsoft looks to have done a poor job of detecting the region of the user. ![]() Some system are receiving an error when trying to install the Windows 8.1 Update patch (“Windows8-RT-KB2849636-圆4.msu”) and they get a “The update is not applicable to your computer” error.įigure: Windows 8.1 Preview – The update is not applicable to your computer Applies to ![]()

![]() ![]() It comes with a text document saying the following: This is the mod I'm talking about Can't seem to get it running. ![]() Still can't get Harrisonfog's 2017 ENB mod working though >.> And the fact that it's not married to the core game files makes it as easy to install and uninstall as a map mod. Tweaking the gamma and saturation, adding better antialiasing and also adding antistropic filtering to get the most out of the HD texture mods, I love stuff like that. That said, I think that post-processing effects can work wonders for a game. ![]() Whatever floats your boat, and yeah a lot of ENB mods bug out on hoth and mos eisley. I personally dont like this type of mods. They are just making everything darker and simply increasing the bloom effects. Its not even a file editing in the Battlefront 2 itselfs. Its just simple programs that are outside the Battlefront 2 code which simply manipulating simple features.SOrry guys dont get angry at me.Just my opinion. In some maps like Hoth for me its very very dark and its hurting my eyes.Even if it worked i still dont like it. ![]() |
